Personal Expression: Questions from Get to Know Me Questionnaire. Contestants will interview in pageant T-shirt, Blue Jeans, Sneakers. Contestant shall not alter interview T-shirt, but may use accessories to highlight personality.Interview will be 5 minutes with a panel of judges.
Opening Number: Contestants will appear in an outfit of choice. They will be introduced in the age appropriate group, then return to the stage to model outfit of choice. No swim wear allowed. No pro-am modeling. The ensemble should reflect their personal sense of style and fashion. Ensemble, hair, and makeup should be age appropriate for each age division.
Gown: Contestant will model a floor length gown that is appropriate for her age division. Hair and makeup should be age appropriate for each age division. Contestant will be asked an on-stage question during this portion of the competition. A list of questions will be distributed one week before the pageant with delegate line up. Questions will be age appropriate for each division..
General Information:
Contestant should not currently hold any national title for any pageant system. If the contestant is a national title holder, written consent to participate in the US Sophisticate Pageant System must be obtained from that director. Contestant must also disclose any current state or local title held at the time of pageant. Selected queens will reign with a non complete clause for a period of 11 months. *Extenuating circumstances will be addressed on an individual basis.
Optional Competitions:
Photogenic: Free to all contestants. Judged on
program book photo. One winner in each division.
Fan Favorite: Awarded to the contestant in each divison with the highest number of good luck wishes. Wishes are a dollar each. Please bring your wishes in the form of cash to the pageant.
No checks/No exceptions.
Each contestant will receive a welcome packet with final pageant schedule during registration. Tentative schedules will be distributed one week before the pageant.
Contestants under 18 must have written parental/guardian consent to participate in the pageant.
Hair and makeup artist will not be allowed in the dressing areas.
Only one parent/guardian will be allowed in dressing area with contestants in Jr.Miss/Tween Miss Division/Teen Miss Division
The hotel and the pageant are not responsible for lost,stolen or misplace items.Neither the pageant or the hotel are responsible for injury before, during or after the pageant.
No photography allowed during the pageant. Pageant photos will be available from the appointed vendor.
Contestant who miss the line-up will have points deducted from their score.
Contestants and of parents who display inappropriate conduct will be disqualified immediately and asked to leave the pageant.
